CSRA is seeking a Field Technician to provide sustainment support to our the SFAB mission at Fort Benning, GA for the Regional Support Center at Fort Braggs, NC
- Performs scheduled service maintenance, technical inspections, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on various types of radio installation kits on various platforms and vehicles in support of the SFAB fielding missions.
- Performs scheduled service maintenance, technical inspections, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on Installation Kits and radio systems. Install, troubleshoot and repair these systems on different platforms and repair or replace defective components as needed. Repairs include but are not limited to replacing.
– Radio subassemblies and components of installation kits. Able to read and interpret line drawings, interconnection drawings and electrical schematics. Well versed in the safe operation of all necessary tools needed to complete repairs. Use Fed log and technical manuals to research parts required for service and repair. Perform scheduled service maintenance, technical inspections, troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on various components of communication systems and mechanical faults and repair and/or replace defective components.
Must have an active and current Secret clearance
5-7 years of experience - Experience working with military vehicle systems and relevant operating systems.
Ability to solve mechanical/system problems using technical manuals, publications and engineering diagrams.
